We are ADAPT
Advocates for Disabled Athletic Performance Training
Fitness provides profound benefits in terms of mind, body, and spirit, and these benefits carry over to our confidence, careers, and relationships. For those with disabilities, accessing the resources needed to get a quality workout is easier said than done; but we believe everyone should have the opportunity to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle.
Our mission is to build a FREE OF CHARGE fitness program for adaptive athletes, but we need your help to make it happen!
How I became involved...
First I met a girl...

Like many stories, mine begins with a girl. I met Mary Beth several years ago, and immediately knew she was something special. She was was beautiful, smart, caring, athletic, a vet student, and she also happened to use a wheelchair. Involved in a car accident in 2010, she was diagnosed with a broken neck resulting in paralysis from her chest down.

Then I met an entire community...
Little did I know, when I began dating Mary Beth, the amazing community I would soon be introduced to.

I have had the opportunity to hear the stories of some amazing people. People like Carlos and Laramie. Like Mary Beth, they too suffer from spinal cord injuries. And like Mary Beth, they too have refused to let their injuries keep them from living full and meaningful lives.
Now I want to make a difference...

With over a fifteen years of experience in fitness and coaching athletes, I began thinking about how I could use my skills to help serve the disabled community.
Teaming up with my fellow coaches, I've decided to start the A.D.A.P.T. Program. Advocates for Disabled Athletics Performance Training. Our mission is to create a free of charge fitness program for individuals with disabilities and redefine what’s possible for adaptive athletes.
But we need your help...

Working with adaptive athletes poses unique challenges. From specialized training knowledge and equipment to the need for additional coaches for assistance, it simply requires more time and resources to properly train adaptive athletes. But it is crucial these individuals have a place to train hard and thrive.
The ADAPT program is a change Oklahoma desperately needs.
We are currently looking for donors to help us transform the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Would YOU consider donating to help us achieve our mission?
